This blog recently experienced a cybersecurity breach with one of the global admin accounts. I am working with the global admin affected by the breach to attempt to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. The affected account was spamming my blog with spam/scam posts in foreign languages. If you receive any additional emails concerning these spam/scam posts, please delete them and do not click on any links associated with them.
In the meantime, I will attempt to disable the email system if I am able to so that no further emails will send out after this one.
Additionally, in order to ensure I can provide readers with a more secure experience moving forward, I have migrated all of my posts from this blog over to my Substack newsletter. Moving forward, I will be posting my Weekly Wrap Up weather reports on my Substack newsletter instead of here. They will be available to all subscribers, including free subscribers. The archives from this blog should also remain available for free subscribers. New archives of weather reports I post over there will be available to free subscribers for the past three months before they end up in the paid archives.
I am also moving my Arkansas Severe Weather Updates blog from here to my Substack newsletter. All of those posts should be accessible for free subscribers. Moving forward, I will be posting all future Arkansas Severe Weather Updates on my X (formerly Twitter) page for quicker, more real-time updates.
Thank you all for coming along with me on this journey. I look forward to still providing you with weather reports over at my new locations!
