Weekly Wrap Up: March 2, 2019 #ARWX

Welcome to another Weekly Wrap Up! This week was mostly cool with a little bit of rain. Here’s a look at rain totals from my CoCoRaHS rain gauge in Hot Springs to close out February.

Some additional good news. My weather station should finally be coming back online soon. I will keep the WeatherTogether community updated once it becomes available to view again.

Here’s a look at the current radar across the region, as well as temperatures (from both NWS and Earth Networks weather stations) and current conditions from Earth Networks weather stations across Arkansas this evening (maps and images courtesy of Baron Threat Net and Earth Networks Sferic Maps). Parts of North Arkansas are also under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Here’s a look at the FutureCast and Future Temperatures maps from the Baron 3K and WSI RPM 4K models (plus the NAM 3K FutureCast) for tomorrow at 8:00 AM showing where winter weather could appear in the Natural State, as well as snow accumulations from the Baron 3K, WSI RPM 4K, NAM 3K, and GFS models for tomorrow at noon, plus a snow forecast graphic for the next 6-12 hours (maps courtesy of Baron Threat Net, Earth Networks Sferic Maps, the WSI Model Lab, and Tropical Tidbits).

Finally, here’s a look at the seven-day extended forecast for Hot Springs.

That wraps it up here! Nathan Parker signing off.
