Weekly Wrap Up: September 10, 2022 #ARWX

Welcome to another Weekly Wrap Up! This week began to see a little cooler weather in the Natural State as the week progressed. Here’s a look at the temperature highs and lows over the past week from my Earth Networks weather station in Hot Springs.

There are a few scattered showers and thunderstorms across the state this afternoon. Here’s a couple of high-res radar images. If conditions worsen, I’ll post updates on my Arkansas Severe Weather Updates blog. Here’s also a look at the current temperatures across the state this afternoon from both NWS and Earth Networks weather stations (maps courtesy of Baron Threat Net, GRLevelX/AllisonHouse, and Earth Networks Sferic Maps).

Here’s a look at the current conditions and HD Cam from my Earth Networks weather station in Hot Springs this afternoon. Here’s also a look at the current air quality from my Davis AirLink and BreezoMeter.

Here’s a look at the current flights across the state from FlightRadar24, plus the current traffic from iDriveArkansas.

Here’s a look at the hourly forecast and five day extended forecast for Hot Springs (hourly forecast courtesy of Tomorrow.IO).

When I was on social media, I used to post a weekly link to a clip from Fraggle Rock I called “Friday Fraggle” to bring a little enjoyment each week. I’m moving the Fraggle posts to my Weekly Wrap Up! This week, Wembley sings before a school audience!

Finally, Sunday is September 11, so I want to take a moment to pause and remember this day in our history. May we never forget, and may we remember the brave first responders who served (and some gave their lives) during that tragic day.

That wraps it up here! Nathan Parker signing off.
