Weekly Wrap Up: October 2, 2021 #ARWX

Welcome to another Weekly Wrap Up! This week saw some rain and at times cooler temperatures to the Natural State. Here’s a look at the temperature highs and lows over the past week from my Earth Networks weather station in Hot Springs.

Here’s a look at the current high-res radar showing scattered showers and a small storm cluster across the state, plus a look at the current temperatures across the state this afternoon from both NWS and Earth Networks weather stations (maps courtesy of Baron Threat Net and Earth Networks Sferic Maps).

Here’s a look at the current conditions from my Earth Networks weather station in Hot Springs this afternoon, plus a look at the current conditions and highs from Earth Networks weather stations across Garland County this afternoon (images courtesy of the Earth Networks Broadcast System).

Here’s a look at the seven-day forecast for Hot Springs. A dry week ahead!

Finally, some good news on the weather reporting front. I’ve been able to secure the necessary funding to continue using my primary storm tracking service (Baron Threat Net) for another year. Therefore, I will be returning to posting regular severe weather updates for Hot Springs and Arkansas weather. I also now have access to NWSChat, so I can follow internal updates from our local weather service office and better communicate with NWS officials.

That wraps it up here! Nathan Parker signing off.
