Weekly Wrap Up: August 14, 2021 #ARWX

Welcome to another Weekly Wrap Up. I have finally recovered from the flu I had earlier and back to weekly weather updates. I am sad to state that my dad passed away on August 1. We had a visitation and burial for him the first week in August (no funeral). We’ve been going through the healing and grieving process well and are getting stronger every day. I will continue to post weekly weather updates here on WeatherTogether with my Weekly Wrap Up. Some good news is I passed my HAM radio General exam this week, and I’ve also been granted a new callsign, N5PKR, for those who wish to communicate with me on HAM radio.

This week saw some hot temperatures to the Natural State. Here’s a look at the temperature highs and lows over the past week.

Here’s a look at the current temperatures across the state this afternoon from both NWS and Earth Networks weather stations (maps courtesy of Baron Threat Net and Earth Networks Sferic Maps).

Here’s a look at the current conditions from my Earth Networks weather station in Hot Springs this afternoon (image courtesy of the Earth Networks Broadcast System).

Finally, here’s a look at the seven-day extended forecast for Hot Springs. A rainy week ahead in store!

That wraps it up here! Nathan Parker signing off.
