Welcome to another Weekly Wrap Up! We did get a nice soaker one day this week, with a wild temperature swing that went from cold to warm to freezing. Here’s a look at the rain totals from my CoCoRaHS rain gauge in Hot Springs over the past week.
Here’s a look at the current high-res radar with Snow Machine for Arkansas showing some wintry mix thrown in with the rain. Monday at 6PM also seems to have the potential to bring in some heavy rain, which I will monitor. Here’s also a look at the Baron Forecast Model for Monday at 6PMĀ (maps and images courtesy of Baron Threat Net and Earth Networks Sferic Maps).
Here’s a look at temperatures across the state (both NWS and Earth Networks weather stations), as well as a look at current conditions from Earth Networks weather stations across Arkansas this evening.
Here’s a look at the seven-day extended forecast for Hot Springs.
Finally, the Baron Forecast Model I use on my blog has received an upgrade. The model accuracy has increased, the model resolution has increased to 3K (from 5K previously), and there are some additional forecast models that’ll be making their way into the suite I use. Learn more here and here.
That wraps it up here! Nathan Parker signing off.
